Our Client Ron and his fabulous Caregiver Laura enjoyed a delightful café visit in Weston-Super-Mare this month, making memories one sip at a time. These meaningful moments are so important for our clients and most importantly, the two were able to bond and benefit from some fresh air.

Meet our newest team member, Jayne

We were thrilled to welcome Jayne to the Right at Home family in September. She has spent the month on shadow shifts in the community and has done a fantastic job so far - we wish her the very best of luck in making meaningful connections and providing exceptional care.

This month, the wonderful Selina celebrated her fourth anniversary of being a part of the team. What a fantastic milestone, thank you for everything you do.

Raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support

This month we also hosted a Coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. It was great to see so many people pop along to our offices and indulge in delicious cakes, all while supporting a vital cause that helps those living with cancer. 

We raised a fantastic £100 on the day, which will go towards providing essential support and care for individuals affected by this illness.

Celebrating World Alzheimer’s Day

This month we celebrated World Alzheimer’s Day on September 21. On World Alzheimer's Day, we stood united in support of those affected by this challenging condition. At Right at Home, we're committed to providing compassionate care and creating moments of joy for individuals living with Alzheimer's.

This year so far, we have managed to raise over £1100 for Alzheimer's and we do not intend to stop here!

Crafting creativity and connection!

This month our team had a fantastic time at our arts and crafts social, where we made beautiful lampshades together. These sessions not only spark joy but also strengthen our bonds as a team.

Wear it Pink Day

We're excited to announce that on October 18, our amazing Clients and staff will be donning their pink attire to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

This important initiative helps support life-saving research and provides vital resources for those affected by breast cancer. Every contribution makes a difference, so let’s come together to show our support!

Whether you wear pink at home, work, or out and about, we encourage everyone to participate and spread the word. Together, we can make a significant impact in the fight against breast cancer!
