Threads of Hope for Weston Hospicecare!

At Right at Home North Somerset, we are excited to announce our upcoming Threads of Hope campaign, dedicated to supporting Weston Hospicecare. On March 24, 25, and 26, we invite our community to donate gently used, clean clothing to help raise funds for this vital charity, which provides free palliative care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses in Weston-super-Mare and North Somerset.

As Amy Collins, our community development officer, shared, "We are thrilled to be launching our Threads of Hope campaign in aid of Weston Hospicecare." Your contributions can make a significant impact; each bag of clothing donated can generate around £30 for the hospice. With only 18% of its running costs funded by the NHS, Weston Hospicecare relies heavily on the generosity of our community.

Our drop-off point will be at Pure Offices, St Georges, Weston-super-Mare, BS22 7SB, open from 8 AM to 5 PM on the donation days. We encourage everyone to take this opportunity to declutter their wardrobes and contribute to a worthy cause.

Weston Hospicecare not only provides essential palliative care but also has a dedicated team of community nurse specialists who support patients and their families in their homes. By participating in our Threads of Hope campaign, you can help ensure that these services continue to thrive.
