Threads of Hope event for Weston Hospicecare
Our recent Threads of Hope event was a tremendous success, bringing together the Right at Home North Somerset team and the community of Weston-super-Mare to support a noble cause.
As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back, we organised this clothing donation drive in collaboration with Weston Hospicecare, and we are thrilled to announce that we have received an estimated £1,400 in clothing donations.
The event was not just about collecting clothes; it was a celebration of community spirit and compassion. Attendees from all walks of life came together to contribute, showing their generosity and support for those in need.
Amy Collins, our dedicated Community Engagement Officer played a pivotal role in organising the event. Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly, from setting up donation stations to promoting the event across social media and local networks. We are incredibly grateful for the community members who opened their hearts and closets to help others.
As we reflect on the success of Threads of Hope, we are inspired by the collective effort that made this event possible. It serves as a reminder of what can be achieved when we come together for a common purpose. We look forward to organising more events like this in the future, continuing to foster a spirit of generosity and support within our local community.
Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, or spread awareness of our event!
