Sharon first joined the Right at Home Team in 2014 as a CareGiver, after being recommended to venture into a career in care by her customers.

Sharon has previously worked in hair salons as an assistant stylist, and her customers would often comment on her caring nature and attention to detail and how she would be suited to working in a caring environment. Sharon then contacted Right at Home Nottingham and the rest is history!

After only a few short months, Sharon had proven her commitment to personal development in undertaking both her NVQ level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care, and had built excellent professional relationships with the service users she supported. Sharon was promoted to a Senior CareGiver and later became an Area Team leader in 2015.

Sharon’s natural flair for working with people has enabled her to become a firm favourite with our service users and CareGivers alike. Sharon now manages all of our client areas in Nottingham as a Care Coordinator and works hard to complete care plan reviews and schedule over 1100 hours of care and support each week, building rotas for CareGivers that meet the needs and requirements of our wonderful Clients.

Sharon now holds her NVQ Level 5 Qualification in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care and hopes to continue to develop her role in future.
