I came into the homecare sector as I was looking for a way to help the community and to give something back. My own mum enjoys her independence and has always said she would like to stay at home in her old age and live her own life, however, there is a time where this cannot be achieved safely without additional support. This is why I strongly felt that homecare was an important service that would allow those who would like to stay in the comfort of their own home to do so safely and why I chose homecare as my new challenge. For me, homecare is not just about providing a service, it is about bringing safety, cheerfulness and happiness into the life of the people we support, it is about making a positive difference and encouraging the people we support to enjoy life by supporting them to carry out the activities they enjoy. This is my personal goal and what I hope we are achieving with the work we are doing at Right at Home Oxford. Our care team is fantastic and so caring, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for the amazing work they do every day with our clients.
