February is Heart Month; a time to focus on cardiovascular health and well-being. At Right at Home Portsmouth, we hosted a delightful Coffee & Cake Morning to bring our community together in support of heart health awareness.
The event was filled with laughter, delicious treats, and meaningful conversations. Our team shared tips on maintaining a healthy heart, and guests enjoyed homemade cakes and freshly brewed coffee. It was heartwarming to see clients, families, and staff connecting over shared stories.
Exceeding Our Target
We set out with a modest fundraising goal of £100, aiming to contribute to the vital research and support services provided by the British Heart Foundation. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our attendees and supporters, we raised an astounding £402, surpassing our original target by 402%!
Community Collaboration
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, whether by donating, baking, or simply sharing a cup of coffee with us. A special thank you to our wonderful neighbours at Trafalgar House, including The On-Site Group Limited, Hutchinson Health, Chariot Accountants Ltd, Middleton Law Ltd, and Airport Cars Fareham, for their enthusiastic support and contributions.
