A CareGivers Career Path
Published: 02/03/2019
If you’ve been thinking about a career in care and wondered what opportunities it might lead to, our CareGivers Danielle Curtis (pictured left below) and Pauline Ng (pictured right below) are a great example of what is possible to achieve.
Heartiest congratulations to Danielle for achieving NVQ3 and Pauline for achieving NVQ2 in Health and Social Care Qualifications.
Pauline and Danielle joined the Right at Home team with no previous care background, but were passionate about making a difference. They both enjoyed their roles as CareGiver and helping other people. They both had a desire to succeed in the health and social care world.
We supported them with the enrolment and their tutor appointments. They were consistent with their course work and not once complained about the hard work and the expectations of their tutor.
They have build great relationships with clients and the wider team. Danielle and Pauline have taken more responsible roles since the last 6 months of their course.
If you are thinking of starting a career in care then it is essential that people trust you, and therefore patience, friendliness and fantastic communication skills are needed. If you have these skills then we would like to hear from you.
