Outstanding in Responsive
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspect all health and social care organisations, like Right at Home, and check that they are providing a safe service and assess the overall quality of the company.
We recently had our first inspection and Inspectors rated us OUTSTANDING in Responsive and overall a ‘GOOD’ service!
Our clients told the CQC inspector: They felt safe and well supported by staff who visited them. They stated that staff were “excellent” and they would carry out extra requests if asked. Staff were punctual for visits and cared for people in an extremely person-centred manner.
Apurva Sharma said, “This is our first CQC inspection and Victoria and I are delighted that the attention to detail we’ve put into the management process and delivery of our care services has resulted in a rating that we can all be very proud of.”
The report noted: The agency was well managed by a supportive management team. People, relatives and staff told us that the management of the agency listened to them and acted on suggestions they made. We received positive feedback from an external professional around the care provided by the staff.
“It’s important that we listen to everyone involved with Right at Home, from those receiving care, their families, the Care Givers, those who recommend us and our admin team. Taking on board feedback and ideas has helped us develop an excellent service and quickly build a great reputation. We will endeavour to continue in this vein.”
