Free Seniors Exercise Classes
Published: 02/03/2019
As we become less mobile with age, everyday tasks such as getting washed, dressed, housework and shopping become uncomfortable and even painful.
Staying active is so important to our physical and mental wellbeing, that is why we launched Staying Steady.
Staying Steady
Free group exercise class for Seniors 65 years and above in Redhill
- Every Wednesday
- 11:45am – 12:30pm
- Holy Trinity Church, Redhill
- FREE, Friendly and Fun
The 45 minute exercise sessions are very popular with the senior members of the church. Local residents are most welcome to join in too.
Low impact sitting and standing exercises along with gentle stretches exercises, all of which help improve balance and contributes to overall good health.
It’s friendly and fun. Those that attend the class encourage each other and enjoy the opportunity to interact socially.
The classes are led by the owner of Right at Home Reigate and Crawley, Apurva Sharma. Her classes draw on her many years of experience as a qualified physiotherapist.
After the class Apurva is available to answer questions and provide support and advice on walking aids and general functional difficulties.
If coming along for the first time please book by contacting Apurva on 01737 906012 or Hannah Bacon (Parish Nurse) at Holy Trinity Church on 01737 766604. After your first visit, there’s no need to book.
