My Right at Home journey

Happy New Year everyone!!
It has been nearly a year since I first heard about Right at Home UK.
RAH’s concept, their ethos and focus on building the quality service models across the country was heart warming. Qualifying as a RAH franchisee was full of scrutinising stages but my determination grew with each passing stage- Finally, I was accepted !!
In Aug 16 I attended the new owners training at the head office with two new starters for Bromley and Mitcham/Dulwich. Training was comprehensive and interactive. Each session was carefully planned to make the learning easy and enjoyable.
My dream to set up my own business, where we could provide client centered quality care is now turning into a reality. We had our CQC inspection and registration completed in Dec 16. With the help of my care manager Samantha McDonald we are now building the RAH team to provide services across Reigate, Redhill, Merstham and Bletchingley.
Our service model has a holistic approach which focuses on supporting with day to day personal care needs, keeping the home environment safe and tidy, providing companionship including visits in the local community and assisting with physio led exercise and rehab programme to improve confidence and independence.
I hope and wish that we continue to improve and develop in the next coming months 🙂
