Alex

My name is Alex. I am the Finance Assistant for Right at Home Solent, and I started working for the company in February 2023. I have a background in insurance and the fitness industry, but I wanted to work for a company that tries to make a positive difference. I was impressed with the company’s focus on client and caregiver wellbeing.

Everyone in the office has been so supportive and welcoming; I couldn’t have asked for a better working environment, and even though I don’t have a background in finance, my training has been patient and thorough. I have enjoyed every day of my job.

I have never worked in the Care industry before, but I love that everyone, from the directors to the CareGivers and the Clients, has a warm, empathetic nature. It makes working in Care feel like being part of a small family, which is so important to me in a job.

When I’m not working: I like to stay fit at the gym or on my bike. I read a lot of novels, I’m a football fan, and I like playing chess in the evenings to relax. I’m also a vegan and animal lover, and my best friend is my dog, Molly.
