Well, its definitely been too long since I last wrote a blog post (much to the dismay of the SEO expert inside of me – seriously somewhere inside me there is one, I’ve just got to find him!). Its been a long time, but SO much has happened. Our aim was to make Right at Home Solent the best home care provider in Hampshire, starting with Fareham and Gosport – then moving further afield to Hedge End, Netley, Stubbington and all surrounding areas. Some good news (avid) readers. We’re getting there.

We’ve had some extremely good feedback over the last few months. Still plenty of scope to improve, but that’s mainly just because our standards are so high. Please see below for some feedback we recently received from the daughter of a lovely Gentleman who we care for. I say Gentleman, because he truly is a Gentleman – even though he now struggles to communicate, its obvious to see how great a person he is from how much he is loved by his family:

When my Dad was diagnosed with inoperable cancer it was like a stab in the heart. I immediately had my parents come and live with me and I helped care for Dad. It began to become increasingly hard to meet Dad’s needs so we asked for help. We had never experienced carers before but hadn’t heard great things about them. Probably mainly media based. How wrong could I be! I don’t think I have ever met such wonderful, caring, kind people who treat Dad with dignity. They are professional, punctual and reliable. They pair Dad up with carers that best suit Dad’s needs and Dad is getting to know the ones that are chosen which is important to us as Dad cannot communicate very well. I am a private person and didn’t know how I would feel with strangers in my house and also looking after my darling Dad. Well, again, I was so wrong. They are all my friends and I feel like I’ve known them for years. This company have got it spot on. I thoroughly recommend them. You cannot go wrong, I promise.

This pretty much sums up what we are all about at Right at Home Solent. Pairing up the right CareGivers with (our amazing) clients, always communicating if we are going to be late (I’m not going to lie and say we’re never late – the traffic can sometimes be atrocious!), be professional, reliable, and treat all of our clients with the dignity they deserve.

The above feedback is great, makes me feel super warm inside. Still very early days for us as a company, still lots to learn.
