It is actually often seen that many people in the early stages of Dementia, symptoms can often be so mild that they often go unnoticed. If you would like to contact us today about receiving support for Dementia, or you would just like a chat with a member of our friendly team, contact us today on 01329 233755.
Every year, Dementia Action Week is a global campaign set up by, The Alzheimer's Society, to encourage people to act on 'Dementia', whether it's them personally or a loved one. 'Dementia' essentially causes significant damage to ones brain; and it can result in many different Diseases; Alzheimer's as an example, is the most common form of Dementia, but there are many others. Symptoms and experiences can change vastly from person to person as well as what type of Dementia they've got. Some of the most common early signs of Dementia are:
- Memory Problems
- Becoming Easily Confused (especially in familiar settings and with familiar faces)
- Ask the same questions repeatedly
- Becoming withdrawn from their normal interests
- Becoming Anxious
