Here at Right at Home Solent we know that we’re not perfect. The one thing we do know, however, is that we will keep improving and learning to make ourselves better. One of our awesome CareGivers (Denise) was recently promoted to the role of Life Enhancement Officer. One of Denise’s first “projects” was to provide some of our CareGivers training/coaching in some of life’s “finer” skills. Providing tips and tricks on how to get the simple tasks around the house absolutely right for our clients is all part of providing quality Home help for the Elderly.
The first “Domestic God & Goddess” session went incredibly well – and although some people may find it patronising to be “trained” on the best way to iron or polish shoes, the Right at Home Solent CareGivers took it the way that they always do – “if our clients have given us feedback that we could improve, we want to improve!”. An awesome attitude from a group of CareGivers we are incredibly proud of.
As far as we are concerned, anything we can do to improve the overall quality of care that we provide to our clients is worthwhile. Care at Right at Home Solent is more than just personal care or meal preparation – its all encompassing.
As I’m sure more of our engaged readers already know, we also like to have a good time. Have a look at the Mannequin Challenge as organised by our very own Amy Patel-Popat. Smashed it to say the least!
