What is International Day of Happiness?
International Day of Happiness 2023 is on Monday 20th March - it is celebrated worldwide, on the 20th March, annually. The occasion was introduced to recognise the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world. The theme of this years International Day of Happiness is "Be Mindful, Be Grateful, Be Kind" and the aim, as it is every year, is to promote world happiness. International Day of Happiness identifies the importance of a more inclusive, equitable and balanced approach to economic growth that is shared across the globe; one that encourages a more sustainable development, poverty annihilation, well-being and happiness of all people.
What did Right at Home Solent do for International Day of Happiness 2023?
In honour of International Day of Happiness, we got postcards printed with with inspirational quotes on and distributed them in Fareham, close to our office. See the designs below! We started at the Lysses Hotel, which is just next to our office, we then also put them in Fareham library, and around the Fareham Shopping Centre. If you're in and around Fareham over the next couple of days, pop into the Shopping Centre and see if you can find any of our postcards around! We also sent these postcards to some of our CareGivers, just to remind them of the amazing job they do with our clients in Fareham, Gosport, Southampton & New Forest East, every day.
