Local Homecare Provider Right at Home Solent is delighted that Amy Patel-Popat, Owner and Director, received the Woman Franchisee of the Year award at the Empowering Women into Franchising (EWiF) Awards Ceremony 2023. The annual awards took place on the 16 May 2023 at the NatWest building in Bishopstoke, London, celebrating Breaking Through Barriers. The prestigious award recognises Amy's outstanding achievements in promoting workplace diversity and cultivating a welcoming and secure working environment for her team and Clients.

Amy has provided Right at Home Solent employees with weekly team check-ins, breathwork and yoga sessions to support mental health and mentoring from external coach company Ignite. The award from Empowering Women into Franchising illustrates the work Amy has dedicated herself to; initiatives to help the whole business and the local community, ensuring all team members feel safe and motivated to give their best and ultimately provide the best care possible for local adults who require it.

Right at Home UK provides care services to vulnerable adults over the age of 18. Primary services are focused on supporting Clients with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and the elderly. We are committed to making a difference every day by maintaining dignity and well-being for those we support.
When providing support, we place great emphasis on the emotional well-being of our Clients and importantly, their families. We promote a minimum of one-hour visits with regular CareGivers, allowing our team to really get to know their Clients. Something as small as sharing a cup of tea and having a chat can make a huge difference to a person’s state of mind, reducing the significant problem of loneliness in the elderly.
Our services are highly personalised, yet flexible to meet the needs of the people we support. We can provide support on a short-term or long-term basis ranging from an hourly daily visit to 24-hour and live-in care, 7 days a week.
