History of Haslington
1256 was the earliest recorded mention of Haslington which was then known as ‘Hesinglinton’, translating to enclosure amongst hazel trees, due to the greenery surrounding the area, during this time Haslington was primarily an agricultural area, and despite all changes in the modern world, has stayed that way.
