History of Shavington
Shavington’s first appearance in 1086 was in the Domesday Book, held by William Malbank who held the majority of the Nantwich land at the time. Sadly it was also the first area in Cheshire to fall to an air raid in WW2, luckily there were no casualties however the damage had a great impact.
