1000 Dementia Friends in Crewe and Nantwich in 2017?!

We have decided that our mission for 2017 is to create 1000 Dementia Friends!

So far, we have delivered 8 Sessions and created 80 Friends in the Crewe and Nantwich area so only 920 to go!

All that is required of a business or organisation is to commit to 45-60 mins of time, which can be at a venue of your choice (we can offer or office in Crewe) to attend a fun, yet informative information session that aims to raise awareness and change perceptions of what is an often misunderstood disease. For example, not many people know that there are known to be over 100 different types of dementia, each affecting a person in a different way.

The East Cheshire NHS Trust have organised 3 sessions with us, and we look forward to delivering many more in 2017:

SpecSavers in Nantwich really enjoyed their Session and feel more confident about supporting customers who live with dementia.

Here we delivered a great session to a lager group of almost 40 members from the 6 Churches of Nantwich, and we managed to video the moment everyone became a Dementia Friend!
