Looking forward to 2018 and Happy 1 Year Anniversary!

Looking back at 2017 fills me with excitement for what will be in store for 2018 at Right at Home South Cheshire. Only 12 months ago we were supporting our first Client, a lovely lady who had dementia and was living with daughter in Crewe who was finding it increasingly difficult to manage her Mum’s support 24/7 – we came in 5 morning each week just to help out with the ladies personal care initially, but over time our CareGiver build a meaningful relationship which led to them knitting together and really enjoying each others company.

Now we are supporting over 35 people in South Cheshire and we have a team of 25 employees all of whom are dedicated to supporting their Clients and making a real difference to their lives.

In 2017 we were awarded a National Right at Home award in recognition of our community engagement efforts where we created over 250 Dementia Friends in the local area – something we are really proud of. We were also shortlisted for the South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards for the Best Start-Up business of 2017.

To end the year on a high, we moved location from a serviced office in Crewe to our new home in the heart of Nantwich in a High St location. Now based at 78 Hospital Street, Nantwich with a lovely shop front and over 1000 Sq foot of office space we have the room we need to continue expanding our team over the next few years. We also have an excellent training facility and room to host events that will benefit Seniors in the local area.

So now we are at the beginning of 2018 and I look forward to achieving some key targets for this year:

• To increase our team to at least 50 CareGivers, creating 25 new jobs in the local area
• To bring our services to approximately 75 people locally
• To begin being recognised as one of the best care providers in the local area
• To host a regular event from our office in Nantwich to help Seniors combat loneliness and isolation
• To Increase our rating on Homecare.co.uk from 9.7/10 to 9.9/10
• To continue working towards being a truly specialist Dementia Care Provider
