Top 20 in the NorthWest
At Right at Home South Cheshire we aim to make a genuine difference to the quality of life of those we serve in the local community. We focus on improving the lives of those we care for, not just maintaining quality of life. For the second year running, we are thrilled to be recognised as one of the top 20 homecare providers in the Northwest by the national leading independent review website, homecare.co.uk
Nantwich Show
What a Productive Day we had at Nantwich Show on 26th July 2023
The Nantwich Show has been an annual feature of the South Cheshire events calendar since 1897. It is the largest one-day agricultural day out in the UK, the Nantwich Show has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors and animals over the years. https://nantwichshow.org/about/
Amid the vibrant ambiance of the event, we showcased our award-winning homecare services to the local community. But it wasn't just about showcasing our services; it was about connecting with our community and myth busting about caring for Clients in their own homes.
Networking, Laughter, and Smiles
Our friends at https://www.caninecreationscheshire.co.uk/ who sell all natural dog treats and have a wealth of accessories came to say hello. They recently provided the voucher for our Spot the Car Competition.
The Team at Nantwich Clinic popped by to bring us some cakes and to talk to us about their upcoming fundraising Firewalk. Their team offer a transformative range of health, wellness and aesthectic treatments. They are serving our local community like ourselves. https://thenantwichclinic.co.uk/

We are here to help
We spoke to Janet who’s 90-year old Father needs some support with meal preparation and a weekly trip to the supermarket as Janet doesn’t live close by. We explained how we are able to match him with one of our CareGivers to give her piece of mind and person centred care for him.
Supporting The Wishing Well Project Wishing Well Supported Adults Service
We were thrilled to use this opportunity to fundraise for The Wishing Well Project's Supported Adults Service with our Guess How Many Balloons in our Car game.
The Wishing Well is a Crewe based charitable organisation through their social enterprise model, they generate a large proportion of our income via their popular meal deliveries service, day care provision and café facilities at Eagle Bridge Health and Wellbeing Centre and the Pickmere Bistro. Any surplus from these ventures allows them to develop neighbouring initiatives such as family drop in sessions, homelessness provision and youth clubs.
Very much like ourselves, their mission is to improve health and wellbeing of our community through a range of services.
We filled our car with balloons and asked visitors to guess how many for the chance to win at Afternoon Tea for 2 at a Wishing Well Café. A local school girl guessed 137 which was one off the 138 actual number raised £50 which will provide materials for one of their activities.
Growing Together
We also partnered with the Growing Health Community Garden Nantwich on on Thursday 10th August on Nantwich Town Square
Our activities that day reflected our commitment to well-being and support. Adele Frost who is the Growing for Health Garden Co-Ordinator joined us to promote a fully accessible wellbeing garden based in the heart of Nantwich on the Brookfield Allotments site.
Some of our Clients love the outdoors and their gardens especially. Regular Client Barbara told us only this week “Looking out at my garden makes me feel closer to my late husband Bob as it was his happy place”
Our Head of Recruitment Rachel was on hand to answer questions about careers with us and our Right At Home Wheel of Fortune proved very popular.
The most asked question was what types of Clients they would be visiting and we were about the explain wide range of calls ranging from companionship to complex care.

Our Spot the Car Competition
Finally our Spot the Right at Home Car created new interest with the chance to win a prize. We had the pleasure of dropping off the Canine Creations Voucher prize for our Spot the Car competition in Crewe or Nantwich to the team at https://jg-creative.co.uk/ They are a Design, Brand and Communications agency based in Cheshire who specialise in working with charities and good companies.
Not only were they impressed by the prize, but they were also thrilled to receive some Right at Home South Cheshire goodies along with them!
As we celebrate the first three months in this role, I'm reminded of the opportunity to showcase our award winning homecare and the potential that community engagement holds. It's not just about hi-lighting our Client services and career opportunities; it's about connecting hearts, making a difference, and keeping our Clients where they want to be for longer Right at Home South Cheshire.
