My name is Helen, and I am a carer and office administrator at Right at Home. I started my career with Right at Home in 2015 after looking after my mum.
I really enjoy being a care worker, the job is varied and every day is different. It is lovely to meet new people and get to know them. It’s a real pleasure looking after people.
Right at Home is an excellent company to work for. They provide all the necessary training and if you are ambitious, you can do additional courses on specific medical conditions.
I help out in the office for two days a week helping with recruitment and auditing.
I am married to Paul and have two grown-up children and two grandchildren, oh, and not forgetting our dog Suki.
I enjoy gardening but my real passion is dancing of which I am a member of a dance school.
Having worked in an office environment prior to becoming a care worker, this was a complete change of occupation but I am so glad I took the plunge as I have learnt so much.
