In-Home Care in Baldock: How Does It Work?
Organising care for yourself or a loved one can be daunting. With so many considerations, it often feels complex and stressful. Our friendly and knowledgeable office team is ready to share their expertise.
Before starting, our team will meet you at home to spend time getting to know you. Using this information, we will design a care plan tailored to your needs. This plan can include companionship, personal care, help with daily household tasks, or simply a companion with whom you can share interests and hobbies.
We regularly update our "What’s On Where" page, showcasing local groups and activities for older people to enjoy. Attending these events can significantly enhance our Clients' well-being, and we often accompany them to ensure they can participate fully.
Additionally, you will have access to our system, which provides a detailed record of each visit and the timetable, so you can see who is coming and when. Please note – we will only share information about your care plan with your family if we have your consent to do so.
Paul F | Son of Client"We have had Right at Home carers for the past month, and the care and support my mum has received have been excellent and professional. We have heard first-hand Mum laughing with the carers and enjoying the company and support she is receiving from them. I have been impressed by the professionalism of the office staff, who return emails very promptly and provide detailed information. This gives my brother, sister, and me great peace of mind knowing Mum is in good care."
Exceptional Care in Baldock: Quality, Compassion, and Trust
Our Ethos: Unrushed & Thorough Care
At Right at Home Stevenage, Letchworth & Hitchin, our ethos revolves around providing thorough and unrushed care. Whether it's companionship services, personal care, night support, or any other type of assistance, we prioritise taking the necessary time to understand and build trust with our Clients.
Longer Care Visits for Comprehensive Support
Our care visits are designed to be longer, ensuring comprehensive support and attention. We have a preferred minimum visit duration of one hour, with a strict policy of not offering sessions shorter than 45 minutes.
Core Values: Trust, Compassion, Quality, and Respect
Our team is unified by our core values of Trust, Compassion, Quality, and Respect. Every team member is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to you or your loved ones, consistently upholding these values. This strong team spirit ensures that we provide reliable and high-quality services at all times.
Live-in Care
As well as our hourly homecare, we also offer a fully managed live-in care service. We source and manage live-in CareGivers to ensure the quality of care is delivered to our high standards. Live-in care can be more cost effective than residential care, especially for couples.
So how does it work? Our live-in carer needs their own room and a small break during the day. Whilst in the house with you, our live-in carer will follow the same bespoke care plan as we have for all of our Clients.
The team at Right at Home actively manages the package to maintain standards. We work with you to find the most appropriate person who matches your personality and preferences. Please click on the video included on this page to learn more, or see our live-in care blog post for more information
