We find and oversee live-in CareGivers to ensure they meet our high standards, offering essential support to both the CareGiver and the Client to align with their needs and preferences. Live-in care can often be less expensive than residential care, particularly for couples.
The popularity of live-in care has been increasing over the years. To accommodate a live-in CareGiver, you will need a spare room and the carer will need a daily break. Other arrangements, such as food and length of stay, are flexible.
Our CareGivers typically work around 10 hours each day, with the duration of their stay tailored to each client's wishes. We will owrk with you to create a timetable you are comfortable with.
Regarding meals, typically, our CareGiver will assist with meal preparation and dine with you, but we'll be guided by our client here to make sure it is working as they wish.
There are many benefits to live-in care: it allows you to avoid the disruption of moving into a residential care home. It enables you to stay in your familiar surroundings with all your treasured memories and belongings.
