You might not think that running a car rental business has much in common with delivering vital private at-home care services for the vulnerable. Yet, with more than 19 years of experience in providing exceptional service to car rental customers, it became clear that the same commitment and dedication could make a meaningful impact in more demanding and sensitive fields.

As we get older, our focus changes. Sometimes it's through the loss of loved ones or the stress of living in a system that does not provide enough 24-hour care for those who need it. A Growing Need for Care

With a rapidly ageing community throughout Didsbury and many retirees settling into the area, I felt that the need for certain types of care would only grow throughout the Stockport region.

The overwhelming feeling that I could make a difference in the community shifted my career focus to run my own care franchise, focusing on the many types of care needs of the community, including dementia care, respite care, and diabetes support, combined with an ability to give Stockport carers with the opportunity to provide private at-home care throughout the area.

With the demand for essential care far outweighing the supply of qualified care agents in the Stockport area, our mantra is in growing and nurturing care talent - much in the same vein that I was nurtured from a Management Trainee to a Regional Director. These are the essential skills that helped to grow Right at Home Stockport into what it is today.

The ability to identify the types of care required from what was available around the Didsbury area, and Stockport as a whole, further fueled the desire to establish a primary private specialist care service, offering everything from respite care to 24-hour care.
