The atmosphere was buzzing with joy as staff, clients, and care professionals gathered to mark this special occasion. Even some of our team members’ children joined in, adding an extra touch of warmth to the festivities!

A Day of Connection and Insight

The event was a true reflection of the community spirit that defines Right at Home. We were thrilled to welcome members of the public, current clients, and fellow care professionals, including our new partners, Dementia Adventure. This incredible organisation provides fully managed holidays for people living with dementia, offering unforgettable experiences tailored to their needs.

One of the standout moments of the day was the Dementia Experience Bus, operated by Mark, a former police officer with a passion for dementia education. Attendees stepped aboard to experience firsthand how dementia can affect the senses, with sight, hearing, and touch deliberately dulled. The impact was profound – many left with a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by those living with the condition.
