Right at Home Bridgend & Vale of Glamorgan’s own Catherine recently attended the Great British Care Awards.
The event of the Great British Care Awards is both a celebration of excellence with the care sector and acknowledgement of the staff who work so dedicatedly to support their clients. These awards are a way to spotlight individuals who showcase extraordinary skills and dedication to those under their care. This a great way to honour individuals who always go above and beyond within the social care sector.
Our Catherine was up for the Care Worker Award for the regional awards after her success in the nationals last year. Here at Right at Home Bridgend & Vale of Glamorgan we are extremely proud of all the hard work Catherine completes daily. We are extremely grateful to Catherine for representing our company at a national level. Catherine attended the event alongside her husband on the 22nd of March up in The ICC in Birmingham. Catherine comments that-
“Well, what can I say I was a bit disappointed I didn’t come anywhere, but I did feel I was in the Oscar’s! It was brilliant, they made us all feel that we were winners anyway to get to where we are that evening, right at home spoilt me and my husband with the hotel and breakfast the following morning, we also had a bottle of bubbly on the table that evening it will be a wonderful memory I will treasure for the rest of my life!”
Catherine, you are a winner to us, we are extremely glad that you enjoyed the night! You both looked very smart!
