One of our favourite places to take clients is to the Royal Parks, and we are so lucky to have two of them on our doorstep. The Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park is glorious in the warmer months, with its botanical garden and wonderful café. Or we can spot deer in Bushey Park and wander around the Woodlands Garden. It’s a great way to get fresh air and stretch our legs.

Elleray Hall is a great local facility offering a range of social activities to support independence and well-being in the local Teddington homecare community. There are many activities to get involved with, such as bridge club and chair-based yoga. There is also ‘Singing for the Brain’, which helps clients affected by dementia. Singing well-known songs in a fun and friendly environment really helps to improve brain activity and well-being.

Some of our keen gardening clients love learning new techniques, like taking cuttings and creating planters. They also get the chance to chat with others over a coffee and cake afterwards. The monthly ‘Memory Café’ at the Peter & Paul Centre in Teddington is a great informal space to make new friends and share experiences.

Right at Home calculates their costs using a flat hourly rate of £31.50 per hour during the week and £35.50 per hour at weekends. Live-In care and nights are charged daily and per night, respectively. We ensure that our caregivers are not rushed while carrying out their duties by having a one-hour minimum call policy.
