Senior Care Manager

Jan has been with Right at Home since 2018, beginning her career as a live-in and domiciliary carer. Over time, she has advanced to the role of Senior Care Manager, where she plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of operations. Jan is responsible for managing the live-in carers and clients, making sure that care is delivered to the highest standard and that the needs of both clients and carers are met. She works closely with the Acting Registered Manager, providing support in the day-to-day management and ensuring the team adheres to company policies and procedures.

In her role, Jan is also the first point of contact for any client concerns or complaints, working to resolve issues promptly and professionally. She supervises the distribution of appreciation gifts and awards for carers, ensuring they are recognised for their hard work and dedication. Additionally, Jan plays a key role in overseeing the training and development of carers, ensuring they receive the necessary support to enhance their skills and provide excellent care.

Jan is passionate about creating a supportive and positive work environment for the team, as well as ensuring that clients receive personalised care that helps them maintain their independence in their own homes. Outside of work, Jan enjoys spending time with her three grown-up children, socialising with friends, gardening, and soaking up the sunshine by the sea.
