Community Action for Roundhay Elderly (CARE) is a Neighbourhood Network run by the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS). We work to enable older people in the Roundhay and Oakwood areas to retain their independence, involvement in the local community and social lives. Our committed volunteers support us in providing a great range of services to our members including befriending, assistance with hospital appointments, day trips and a range of social clubs and activities including singing, creative writing and arts & crafts.
