At Right at Home, we have a remarkable team of women at all levels and positions in our business. Today, as well as every other day of the year, we celebrate the women who work tirelessly to provide exceptional care to some of society’s most vulnerable people.

Women often form a large portion of the care industry. We firmly believe in the importance of placing women in all positions throughout the business: from junior care roles to senior management positions. We strive to be a business free from bias; we recognise hard work and give recognition where it is due and collectively we can all #BreakTheBias

We are committed to listening to the women in our business, ensuring that we create a work environment that offers equal opportunities regardless of gender. We are always learning, continuing to grow and encouraging our whole team to contribute ideas that support our development.

This International Women’s Day, we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the women at the heart of our organisation and celebrate their achievements.

The women in homecare who make us who we are

From women in senior leadership positions to our female CareGivers to our female franchisees, every member of our team is a valued member. We have so many stories to celebrate throughout the business and we’re sharing two particularly special ones today.

Our all-female team of Registered Managers

From our national headquarters to our regional offices, you’ll find women in senior management positions throughout the Right at Home network. In fact, all of our current Registered Managers (RMs) are women!

Registered Managers have a huge responsibility for managing the regulated activity for their local office, including their team and the quality of care that they provide. They are in charge of any compliance and legal requirements for their regulator.

Many of the women in managerial positions began their journey as CareGivers or Care Coordinators within the care sector. These highly-skilled, passionate women are in the positions they are after being promoted to recognise their enduring efforts.

Our longest-serving team member: Kate Dilworth

Kate Dilworth has been with us since the very beginning of Right at Home UK in 2010, making her the longest-serving team member! Having started as a CareGiver during our infancy years, Kate’s career journey has taken her to the senior management team at Right at Home’s National Office.. She is now very successfully recruiting new Franchise Owners as our Franchise Recruitment Manager.

Kate originally planned to work for Right at Home temporarily. However, she loved what the business stood for and saw real potential to grow. A decade later, we’re delighted to have Kate as a member of the senior leadership team.

Meet Kate and other women within our senior team.

“I love seeing people come to us with an ambition to build a really meaningful business, knowing that Right at Home can help them achieve their dream of making a huge difference to people’s lives. I also believe this company is playing a key part in driving up standards of care across the UK, and that’s something I’m really proud to be associated with.”

Our award-winning Chief Executive Officer: Lucy Campbell

Lucy Campbell is our Chief Executive Officer here at Right at Home, leading the network as the most senior management role. Lucy has a wealth of experience in franchising with a long history of helping businesses to thrive. She is passionate about the care industry, putting quality first above all else.

For the past two years, Lucy has picked up the Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWiF) Woman Franchisor of the Year award! This is one of the most prestigious awards for individuals within the franchise industry and we are delighted that Lucy has received the recognition she deserves.

“Most certainly a glass half full type of woman; having a strong and positive mindset is evident in all that I do. I am passionate about people and supporting them to be the change they want to be. I get a huge amount of satisfaction from enabling others to achieve their business goals and ambitions, whilst making a real difference!”
