National homecare provider Right at Home UK is delighted to receive a trio of entries in What Franchise’s highly coveted 100 Influential Women in Franchising list for 2020. The annual list celebrates and champions key figureheads across the franchising industry.
Right at Home UK’s Chief Operating Officer, Lucy Campbell, is included in the Services and Care category; Amy Patel Popat, Co-Franchise Owner of Right at Home Solent, features in the Rockstar Franchisees category; and Right at Home’s Non-Executive Director, Suzie McCafferty, who is the CEO of franchise consultancy Platinum Wave, is named in the Suppliers category.
In her role as Chief Operating Officer, Lucy has been instrumental in driving increased quality standards, which has seen 27% of Right at Home’s inspected offices in England now rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) – the independent regulator for health and social care. In addition, Right at Home is the only major homecare franchise to have 100% of its offices in England rated Good or Outstanding, and one of only three brands to have achieved eight consecutive years of 5* Franchisee Satisfaction. Lucy’s inclusion in this list comes hot off the heels from her nomination for Woman Franchisor of the Year at the 2020 EWiF (Encouraging Women into Franchising) Awards which are taking place virtually on Wednesday 21 October.
Amy Patel Popat runs multi-award-winning Right at Home Solent with her husband Kev and the duo have gone from strength-to-strength over the past three years. Their office was rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission in 2018, and they achieved a double award win at the prestigious bfa (British Franchise Association) Awards in 2019, scooping the Customer Engagement Award and the ultimate accolade, Franchisee of the Year. Earlier this year, they were awarded 5* Employer status, following their annual CareGiver satisfaction surveys and named a Top 20 Homecare Provider in the 2020 homecare.co.uk awards.
Right at Home UK CEO, Ken Deary, commented: “This list showcases the biggest names in the franchising sector, so we’re incredibly proud to be represented as both a Franchisor and Franchisee. This undoubtedly reflects the high calibre of talent we have in our network. Congratulations to Lucy, Amy and Suzie on this fantastic achievement.”
