Right at Home UK has welcomed Lisa Grainger, Clinical Lead, who will join their national office team as part of their Clinical Care Project.
The project aims to provide clinical care for Clients in their own home, and Lisa's appointment as the first designated training position within Right at Home UK that will support this initiative. Traditionally, clinical care is provided by a District Nurse in each local authority.
Lisa brings a wealth of experience to her new role, with over 30 years of nursing experience in various healthcare settings, including acute, primary care, and community care in both the public and private sectors. She has worked in emergency, haematology, oncology, palliative care, and Practice Nursing, making her highly knowledgeable in this area.
The Clinical Care Project is being developed to ensure the highest standards of clinical care across Right at Home's Franchise network, which consists of more than 80 offices. Through this project, CareGivers will be able to provide even more personalised homecare to Clients, such as catheter care and PEG feeding, with confidence and competence which will follow a defined framework. The training and support provided will also create opportunities for career growth and skill development within the company, in line with Right at Home's commitment to advancing careers in homecare.
Right at Home's Clinical Care Project aligns with the broader Integrated Health and Social Care agenda and strategic initiatives of the Department of Health and Social Care. These initiatives increasingly focus on meeting individuals' complex clinical needs in community settings.
Lisa Grainger, Clinical Lead at Right at Home UK said:
“I am really excited about my appointment to Right at Home as part of the Clinical Care Project Team. “I always seek to maintain the highest of standards and pride myself on my ability to adapt to colleagues, patients’ and Clients’ specific needs and build trusting relationships with all who I interact with”.
