Right at Home Cardiff & Newport celebrates trio of award wins at Great British Care Awards

Homecare company Right at Home Cardiff & Newport is celebrating after picking up three awards at the Regional Great British Care Awards: The Care Team Award, The Frontline Leaders Award for Jemma Nicholas and The Workforce Development Award for Abbeygail Folland.

The awards took place on Thursday 7th November at a ceremony held at Cardiff, Park Plaza with more than a hundred people in attendance. The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of local businesses operating across the care sector. The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector.  The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.

Right at Home provides care and support to people living in their own homes, predominantly in the Cardiff & Newport district but extending to surrounding areas. It currently supports more than two hundred and fifty clients and employs a team of hundred and sixty CareGivers. Services range from companionship, home help and personal care to specialist dementia care and live-in care services.

Right at Home Cardiff & Newport faced tough competition for the highly coveted categories and was praised for being a fantastic team that highly values its staff and a stand-out provider of very high quality care and staff motivation.
