National homecare franchise Right at Home is on a mission to become the most trusted homecare brand in the UK. With a growing network of 60+ offices across England and Wales and 25% of its inspected offices in England now rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, it is making great strides to achieve this.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator for health and social care in England. Outstanding is the highest possible rating that can be awarded by CQC, which is only achieved by the top 3% of providers. In addition, Right at Home is the only major homecare franchise to have 100% of its offices in England rated Good or Outstanding.
Right at Home’s services include companionship, personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, dementia care and 24-hour live-in care.
Speaking on its mission, Right at Home UK CEO, Ken Deary, said: “As a network, we are absolutely committed to being recognised as the most trusted homecare brand in the UK. This is achieved by providing the highest quality care, the same type of care we would want for one of our own family members.
“Right at Home was actually borne out of a desire to help other families find high quality care, something which I struggled with personally when looking for homecare for an immediate family member.
“With a network of like-minded individuals who are equally as passionate about bringing an exceptional standard of care to their local communities, collectively we are laser-focused on achieving our mission.”
To further bolster its quality and compliance team, Right at Home welcomed Quality and Compliance Manager Tracy James to its National Office support team on 1 September. Tracy has held various roles in the care sector since the early 1990s.
Speaking on her appointment, Tracy said: “I am very excited to now be part of the Right at Home team. With the reputation and standing that Right at Home enjoys, I see this as both a great opportunity for me, and also a privilege to be part of the journey, to be the outstanding provider of choice for homecare in the UK. I am looking forward to supporting franchisees to navigate our ever evolving sector, as regulations change and ways to deliver support continue to adapt with exciting technology advances.”
Despite the challenges presented during the current pandemic, Right at Home has gone from strength to strength in 2020. The multi-award-winning network is the number one rated major homecare brand on the independent review site homecare.co.uk; it was awarded 5* employer status by the independent research company WorkBuzz back in April following its annual CareGiver satisfaction survey and the Franchisor is also shortlisted for the British Franchise Association’s prestigious Leadership and Culture accolade, with the final taking place later this year.
