Right at Home is shortlisted for trio of national homecare awards

National homecare provider Right at Home UK has been shortlisted for three accolades at the 2021 Homecare Awards.
The nominations follow Right at Home’s recent award win at the Best Franchise Awards held last month.
The Homecare Awards seek out examples of the expertise of companies providing homecare in the UK and celebrate the teams that are looking to raise standards across the sector. The awards will be held virtually on the afternoon of Friday 19 March.
Right at Home, which is the number one rated major homecare franchise on the independent review site homecare.co.uk, has been shortlisted for:
• Recruitment, Retention and Staff Motivation
• Best Homecare Group or Franchise Network
• Its Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic
Right at Home Portsmouth is also a finalist at the awards. The office, which is rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, is shortlisted in the Team Support category.
Speaking on the nominations, Right at Home UK’s CEO, Ken Deary, said: “The Homecare Awards are very important to us as they demonstrate the best of what the sector has to offer. It’s been a very challenging 12 months but as a sector I believe we have really risen to the challenge and shown how important our services are in helping to relieve pressure off our NHS whilst supporting people to remain safe at home.
“I’m incredibly proud of how our network has come together during the pandemic and the above and beyond lengths our care teams have gone to as they continue providing the highest standard of care.”
Right at Home also has four nominations at the EWiF (Encouraging Women into Franchising) Awards, which take place on Thursday 11 March. Its Chief Operating Officer, Lucy Campbell, is a finalist in the Woman Franchisor of the Year category and Franchise Owner Sam Wright from Right at Home High Wycombe is shortlisted for Woman Franchisee of the Year. In addition, Heather Keep, National People and Brand Development Manager at National Office and Susie Long, Registered Manager at Right at Home High Wycombe are both shortlisted in the Woman Franchise Employee of the Year category.
