Right at Home retains 5* Employer Award

National homecare franchise Right at Home UK is the proud recipient of a 5* Employer Award for the third year running.
This award followed its network’s annual anonymised CareGiver Satisfaction Survey results, administered by the independent research company, WorkBuzz.
In addition to the network’s national award, 27 of its individual Right at Home offices also achieved local 5* Employer status, demonstrating the importance the Right at Home network places on supporting its staff.
1,821 CareGivers took part in the Satisfaction Survey and highlights from the results include:
• 90% of CareGivers would recommend Right at Home as a great place to work
• 93% would recommend Right at Home’s care services
• 93% are proud to work for Right at Home
Speaking on the results of the CareGiver Satisfaction Survey, Right at Home UK’s CEO, Ken Deary, commented: “The network’s investment in this annual survey reflects our commitment to ensuring the very best training and support for our care teams. Our CareGivers are the beating heart of our business and without them, we would not be able to deliver the high-quality care we are known for, so these surveys really are of great importance to us. From the results, each office will devise a plan of action to respond and implement changes, based on the valuable feedback provided by our CareGivers.”
The franchise network also invests in an annual Client Satisfaction Survey. This year’s survey was completed by 980 Clients and highlights from the survey include:
• 95% said their CareGivers are well matched to their care needs
• 96% of Clients surveyed would recommend Right at Home
• 97% agreed their CareGivers make a positive difference
Ken added: “To receive these results, based on the past 12 months where we have worked against a very challenging landscape, is a fantastic achievement and pays testimony to the tremendous efforts of our network.
“I’d also like to express my gratitude to all of our Clients and CareGivers who took the time to complete these surveys. It is our collective mission here at Right at Home to be the UK’s most trusted homecare brand, as a provider of care and as an employer, and this valuable feedback plays a key part in helping us to achieve our mission.”
Hot off the heels of this achievement, on Friday 23 April 2021 at the national Homecare Awards, Right at Home UK was recognised again for its staff wellbeing, recruitment and retention. The provider won the award for ‘Recruitment, Retention and Staff Expertise’ while Right at Home’s Portsmouth office was announced as the winner of the ‘Team Support’ category. The provider also achieved highly commended during the awards, for its response to the coronavirus pandemic.
