Leading homecare provider Right at Home UK has been named as a finalist in the WorkBuzz Best Franchise Awards.
Right at Home UK was announced as a finalist in the ‘Best Franchise - Management’ category following attaining the WorkBuzz 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction accreditation for the ninth consecutive year. It is the only care franchise to have achieved this impressive track record, demonstrating the strength of the partnerships between the franchisor and franchisee within the business.
The annual awards, which are open to franchisors from all sectors who have taken part in the Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark programme, ask franchisees to complete a confidential online survey rating their franchisor on several qualities. Franchisors are benchmarked against an industry average for initial training, ongoing support, the franchisees’ perceived relationship with the franchisor, and whether they would recommend the franchise to a prospective franchisee.
Speaking after the Best Franchise Award finalists were announced, Right at Home COO, Lucy Campbell said:
“These awards are particularly close to our heart as they are based on the feedback provided by our network of franchisees. To know that our network values and appreciates the support we provide is fantastic. We pride ourselves on delivering industry-leading support to our Franchise Owners and the 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction accreditation demonstrates that we are above the curve when it comes to our approach.
“To be named as a finalist in the Best Franchise Management category is a fantastic achievement. At Right at Home, we foster a family feel culture that supports and encourages everyone to reach their full potential. It is this approach that has helped us build mutual and respectful relationships with our network.’’
Out of a satisfaction score of 100, Right at Home maintained its score of 91 from 2020. Of the four categories that franchisors are benchmarked against, Right at Home scored above 90 in every area. Culture & Relationships - 98; Leadership - 96; General Satisfaction - 95; Franchise System - 92.
The survey also noted some of the positive changes at Right at Home since the last survey. They included:
- New website
- Larger National Office team
- A good investment in web pages and marketing support
- Investment into compliance support
- More consultation than ever with the network.
Franchise Owners were quick to praise the homecare provider. One commented:
“There has been consolidation, strengthening and growth within the National Office team. There was also significant support and advice throughout the pandemic, so we always felt that we weren’t alone.’’
Other Franchise Owners applauded the leadership provided by Right at Home’s CEO, Ken Deary, and COO, Lucy Campbell. They said:
“Ken and Lucy are incredibly passionate and visionary leaders.’’
“The leadership from National Office throughout the pandemic has been exemplary but they haven’t rested on that. Future plans are detailed and robust.’’
The winners of the Best Franchise Awards will be announced as part of the British Franchise Association (bfa) conference at the end of November. This will be an exciting day for Right at Home as the Best Franchise Award ceremony in the daytime will be followed by the bfa British Franchise Awards, where Right at Home are up for Franchisor of the Year and the Leadership and Culture Award.
