Right at Home UK Celebrates Outstanding Network Achievements at Annual Conference

Published: 03/10/2022

Right at Home has celebrated another year of outstanding achievements from across our network at our Annual Celebration Awards.

The prestigious award ceremony was held on the second day of our Annual Conference, at St George’s Park on Thursday 29 September. The awards shine a spotlight on the tremendous achievements of local offices over the last year.

Across 12 award categories, Franchisees, CareGivers, and Registered Managers were recognised for their commitment to their Clients and for going the extra mile to make a difference in their local communities.

This year, the judges faced some challenging decisions as competition appeared tougher than ever, with such a high standard of nominations, but we are delighted to share our 2022 winners:

Jordan Lewis from Right at Home Borehamwood and Watford picked up CareGiver of the Year

CareGiver of the Year: Jordan Lewis, Right at Home Borehamwood & Watford

One of the most highly anticipated awards of the night, CareGiver of the Year, recognises the network’s fantastic CareGivers who have excelled in service delivery and are a shining example of the Right at Home values. Earlier this year, Jordan won Right at Home’s first ever regional heats to become London’s first Regional CareGiver of the Year, before being chosen as the overall national winner by judges.

After moving from a career in construction to care back in 2020, Jordan has truly embraced the profession and always puts his Clients and colleagues first. Jordan goes above and beyond to perform his duty to the best of his ability, treats every single Client like a family member and empathises with them and their loved ones.

Commenting on his award win Jordan said: “I feel very grateful and proud to receive such an honourable award. It's such an amazing feeling and means a lot to me. It has given me a boost to do more, not just for my Clients but for the whole team and Right at Home brand. All I want to do is come to work and make a difference.”

Jenny Madghachian, the owner of Right at Home Borehamwood & Watford said: “No one deserves this award more than Jordan. He is available 24/7 for our carers and Clients. He is a natural CareGiver; gentle, caring, confident, and a great problem solver - always thinking outside the box to make everything work. ‘Everyone needs a Jordan in their life’ we’ve heard this quote come from two separate Clients. He knows how to relate to everyone and is so hugely deserving of this incredible acknowledgment. He is our Clients’ hero and is becoming one to his team. We are so pleased his efforts have been recognised.”

Young Ambassador of the Year: Hollie Mace, Right at Home Solent

This award celebrates young newcomers who exemplify the Right at Home values and passion for quality care, and are leading the way for the future of the Right at Home brand. Despite being newly introduced last year, the award received some exceptional nominations.

Hollie was overwhelmed by her award win, saying: “I’m so pleased to be crowned Young Ambassador of the Year.
