We pride ourselves on providing supportive and dedicated services at Right at Home for those who need it. Our priority is to keep our Clients in their familiar surroundings whilst allowing them to enjoy as much independence as possible.

Our fully-trained CareGivers are on hand for a range of services, from companionship, respite care, dementia care, personal care to hospital to home. We provide light housekeeping, great company for those who are lonely, medication reminders, and personal care. As you can see from our positive homecare reviews, we strive to provide the care that your loved one needs. Our caregivers are carefully matched to our clients in terms of interests, hobbies, culture and their ability to build a connection with each other.

Dementia Care

We understand that choosing care can be difficult. All of our Caregivers complete dementia specific training as part of their induction programme so they can work with you to meet your needs. We can ensure the home environment remains safe and advise on any adaptations that will make life easier for yourself or a loved one. We are dementia friends and a large part of our voluntary time is used to support local dementia support groups.

With Right at Home Calderdale, you can trust we will provide the best care and support for you and your loved ones.

We also like to take our clients out and about in the local area and these are some of the places our Caregivers like to take them:

Hebden Bridge Centre

The original greatest town in Europe and a brilliant place to spend a couple of hours. A wealth of independent shops selling everything from wool to vinyl records there really is a surprise through every door way. There are some great coffee shops and pubs to take some time out and soak in the unique Hebden Bridge atmosphere.

Hebden Bridge Picture House

The Hebden Bridge Picture House is a welcome change from your usual multiplex. The original 1920s Art Deco building has been restored to its former glory, providing a cosy spot for watching the latest releases or a beloved old favourite film.

The Canal

Why not take a stroll along the canal ?

The picturesque Rochdale Canal runs through the heart of Hebden Bridge, providing a beautiful walkway on sunny days. Walk towards Todmorden along the canal to admire the colourful barges, and have a pint outside the Stubbing Wharf pub and simply enjoy the scenery.
