Dementia Care

We understand that choosing care can be difficult. All of our Caregivers complete dementia specific training as part of their induction programme so they can work with you to meet your needs. We can ensure the home environment remains safe and advise on any adaptations that will make life easier for yourself or a loved one. We are dementia friends and a large part of our voluntary time is used to support local dementia support groups.

The Old Bridge Inn

This ancient inn has changed little over the last 700 years. As you approach it over the old packhorse bridge, and enter into this charming, civilised hostelry, there will always be a warm welcome from your third generation hosts Tim and Lindsay Walker and staff.

A great place to relax and enjoy some amazing food and company.

Baitings Resevoir

Baitings dam was constructed in 1956 and is at the top of the Ryburn Valley. There is a great fully accessible circular walk around the reservoir that takes around 90 mins to walk round. The views are spectacular from the top of the 160ft dam and is one of our clients favourite places for a walk.

Barkisland Cricket Club

A friendly club at the heart of the community with Senior and Junior cricket teams, come along and watch or just come in and have a drink.
